“Instameet” is an integrated campaign launching on National Friendship day that encourages users to step away from their screens and meet people face-to-face.

The problem?

The digital age is ruining the concept of face-to-face interactions, with people preferring to contact one another digitally instead. Many people deal with social anxiety and social media is the perfect hiding place, but it’s at the cost of meaningful relationships.

Solution

  1. Print/ Mobile Integrated Campaign

    To celebrate International Friendship Day, a series of out-of-home, print, and mobile services will highlight the flavor of friendship. The digital platform only serves to generate distanced and cold relationships that have no fond memories to fall back on. Making memories and doing activities simultaneously improves our relationships with others while improving our mood significantly.

Conceptualization

  1. Instameet App

    Users can join related events based on their interests, host in-person events, and connect with friends using a messaging feature

  2. 2D Print Campaign

    Utilizing a series of illustrations and typography, the poster campaign showcases what the best friendships are built on through shareable food and drinks. It takes two to create these moments.

  3. Interactive Campaign

    InstaMeet will collaborate with Geocache, a platform where people find hidden treasures while exploring. Locate a geocache together nearby by find participating friends on the Instameet app. Photos of their findings will be showcased online using #InstaMeetxGeoache.
